An Evening of Spanish Romanticism in Subotica

On Wednesday, June 11th at 7 PM, the City Hall of Subotica will host an exceptional classical music event – An Evening of Spanish Romanticism, featuring pianist Julija Bal in a solo recital.

The concert program includes works by celebrated Spanish Romantic composers such as Enrique Granados, Isaac Albéniz, Manuel de Falla, and others. These pieces, while often heard in orchestral or chamber arrangements, will be presented in their original form for solo piano – a rare opportunity for the audience to experience them as they were first conceived.

This performance follows Julija Bal’s recent concert tour in the United States, which included a recital at the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York in 2023.

Joining Julija on stage will be members of the Kamerna rezonanca ensemble: Vesna Aćimović (soprano), Maja Grujić (piano), and Bogdan Jovanović (cello), enriching the evening with vocal and chamber music.

Don't miss this special night celebrating the passion and elegance of Spanish Romantic music.
